What did I get myself into

Here I go again not updating this blog in a timely manner. Things have been busy around here  the last month. On November 8th I visited Sully of 92.9 Dave Fm  here in Atlanta and did a short podcast. I wasn't at my best and was very nervous, but I had fun doing it and it got my name out there, as a matter of fact this visit inspired my newest shortbread flavor Grand Marnier! Yes I added liqueur to yet another creation. Not long after that I was contacted by Deep South Magazine and asked if I would like to appear in the holiday gift guide, so there I am in the gift guide. As a lot of you know I use Twitter and I tweet a whole bunch, hey I'm a start up, twitter is free and I can use the exposure. I have a decent amount of followers and one of them makes some of the best Phickles, yes Phickles, think pickles but much better and not a cucumber in the batch. Somehow I got asked into making a shortbreads for Phickles trade. Around this time I realized that I was getting close to my 100th dozen sold, which came on Tuesday November 24th when I got orders for thanksgiving it was a long night but I got them done. So here it is December and the Holidays are right around the corner I'm hoping for a good month, I think I might actually be able to do something I haven't been able to do in a long time, spoil my loved ones a bit.
As I said I use Twitter a lot and I have seen @wheelingchef get tagged as an #Interestingperson I guess I'll never get what the big deal is, don't get me wrong i'm flattered with all of this, but I'm honestly not doing anything that amazing, I make cookies to help me make ends meet and to help me pursue a sport that I enjoy,I'm just happy people like my cookies and that I found a way to make things happen. I've said it before, I'll say it now, and I'll continue to say it. Thank you all for reading, buying and enjoying my cookies, and supporting me in this whole grand adventure. If I don't get a chance to say it before the Holidays and the New Year, let me say Nollaig faoi shéan is faoi shonas duit.  and Athbhliain faoi mhaise duit!'
